Powered Up Strawberry Banana

Ingredients

Whole Milk (1 cup)

Vanilla Protein (1 scoop)

Strawberry (1 cup, frozen)

Oats (1/4 cup)

Sea Salt (1 dash)

Banana (1 banana, frozen)

Creatine (1 scoop)

This is a powered up, variation of a classic strawberry banana smoothie. Compared to a classic strawberry banana smoothie, this one is better suited as a post workout smoothie, meal replacement or, weight gainer smoothie as it’s higher in calories and protein.

This smoothie has 7 ingredients including whole milk. We use whole milk rather than almond milk or other liquids which helps give the smoothie a rich, frothy, creamy taste. Whole milk is high in calories but man does it make for a great milk shake like taste!

To make this smoothie, start by adding the whole milk, then your oats and powders. After that add frozen base of strawberries and banana. Depending on the consistency you desire, you can add some ice if needed. Blend for a bit and then add more fruit or extra ingredients to taste. Blend for some extra time to allow the whole milk and oats to whip up and get extra smoothie and creamy like a milk shake.

Makes about one 20oz serving

Optional Super Boosts:

Add a bit of honey to make it extra sweet

Add another scoop of vanilla protein powder for additional protein after your workout

Throw in some ice to add volume, and frothiness without adding additional calories
