Simple Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

Ingredients

Milk, 1 cup

Peanut Butter, 2 tbsp

Banana 1, frozen

Unsweetened Chocolate Whey Protein 1 scoop

Cacao, 2 tsp

Ice 1/2 cup

This smoothie is a simple take on the always popular flavor pairing of Chocolate and Peanut Butter. This Simple Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie is a classic dessert smoothie that is fantastic as a sweet treat or a post workout meal. As a post workout smoothie, this smoothie packs 33.9 grams of protein to help you recover and rebuild muscle after a hard workout.

This smoothie has a rich chocolate taste, with a smooth peanut buttery finish. The additional ice and milk keeps the smoothie nice and cold and frothy and helps add some volume to the smoothie to fill you up.

To make this smoothie, start by adding Milk for the base. Next, drop in the Frozen Banana, and then two scoops of your favorite Peanut Butter. Then add the Cacao, and a scoop of Chocolate Whey Protein powder. Lastly, top it off with some Ice. Blend for a bit, starting on a lower speed then working up to higher speeds to break the Ice. Blend until all the ingredients are mixed and you have a smooth consistency. Taste and add additional ingredients to taste.

Makes about one 16oz servings

Optional Super Boosts:

Add another scoop of protein and a scoop of creatine for strength and muscle recovery

Add some Oats to thicken the smoothie and add some fiber

Use Almond Milk instead of regular Milk for a lighter, dairy free alternative
