Chocolate Pudding Post Workout Smoothie

Ingredients

Almond Milk 1 cup

Cacao Powder 1 tsp

Maca Powder 1/2 tsp

Oats 1/4 cup

Hemp Seeds 1 tsp

Ice 1/2 cup

Avocado 1/2

Chocolate Whey Protein 1 scoop

Banana 1, frozen

Dates 2

This smoothie is the perfect, post workout dessert treat to help you recover and build muscle after a hard workout.

It has the consistency of a smooth, icy chocolate pudding and tastes like a sweet dessert. It has a moderate chocolate taste, and is sweetened with banana and dates.

It tastes like a light chocolate pudding but unlike a Jello Pudding, there are no empty calories in this smoothie. It is packed with vitamins, nutrients and protein.

This one is a super smoothie with eleven ingredients including superfoods like Cacao Powder, Maca, Hemp Seeds and Avocado.

This is a post workout smoothie and is designed to help you recover and rebuild muscle after a workout. It’s high in calories but packs a strong 33g of protein and its packed with healthy ingredients and superfoods.

To make this smoothie, start by adding the Almond Milk. Then the solids, starting with frozen banana, avocado, and dates. Then then add the oats and powders. Then top it off with the ice and blend for a bit, starting on a lower speed then working up to higher speeds to break the ice. Blend until all ingredients are mixed and you have a smooth consistency. Taste and add additional ingredients to taste.

Makes about one 20oz serving

Optional Super Boosts:

Add an extra scoop of whey protein powder to jack up the protein

Add a scoop of creatine for strength and muscle recovery

Add a handful of spinach (you’ll hardly taste it) to get some added greens

Add a spoon full of peanut butter too make it more of a delicious treat
