Classic Strawberry Banana

Ingredients

Almond Milk

(1 cup)

Strawberry (1/2 cup, frozen)

Banana (1 banana, frozen)

You can’t go wrong with a classic strawberry banana smoothie. It’s the perfect, easy smoothie that works for just about everyone, especially kids.

This smoothie only has three ingredients and serves as a fantastic base to build off of. You can add ingredients to give it a boost or just keep it simple.

Start by adding the almond milk, then strawberries and a banana. At least one of the solid ingredients should be frozen or you’ll want to add some ice to keep it icy. Blend for a bit and then add more fruit or extra ingredients to taste.

Makes about one 16oz serving

Optional Super Boosts:

Add some honey for some extra sweetness

Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder for extra protein after your workout

Add some oats to thicken it up
