Vanilla Pudding Post Workout Smoothie

Ingredients

Almond Milk 1 cup

Vanilla Whey Protein 1 scoop

Maca Powder 1/2 tsp

Oats 1/4 cup

Hemp Seeds 1 tsp

Ice 1/2 cup

Avocado 1/2

Sea Salt dash

Banana 1, frozen

Dates 2

This smoothie is the perfect, post workout dessert treat to help you recover and build muscle after a hard workout. And it tastes like a delicious vanilla pudding! But there are no empty calories in this smoothie. It’s packed with vitamins, nutrients and protein.

It has a nice vanilla taste, and is sweetened with banana and dates. It has the consistency of a smooth, icy vanilla pudding and tastes like a sweet dessert that you’ll love.

This super smoothie contains ten ingredients including superfoods like Maca, Hemp Seeds and Avocado.

Use this smoothie as a post workout smoothie to help you recover and rebuild muscle after a workout. It’s higher in calories but packs a strong 33g of protein.

To make this smoothie, start by adding the Almond Milk. Then the solids, starting with frozen banana, avocado, and dates. Then then add the oats and powders. Next top it off with the ice and blend for a bit, starting on a lower speed then working up to higher speeds to break the ice. Blend until all ingredients are mixed and you have a smooth consistency. Taste and add additional ingredients to taste.

Makes about one 20oz serving

Optional Super Boosts:

Add an extra scoop of whey protein powder to jack up the protein

Add a scoop of creatine for strength and muscle recovery

Add a drop of vanilla extract for extra vanilla aroma and flavoring

Add a handful of spinach (you’ll hardly taste it) to get some added greens

Add a spoon full of peanut butter too make it more of a delicious treat
